Sierra Leone, Africa March 2011
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus. I want to begin by saying that our trip to Sierra Leone, Africa was no doubt ordained by God! From the very start we sensed Gods divine providence on us.
As Pastor Leal and Pastor Anticoli taught the leaders during the morning and afternoon sessions you could sense the pastors and leaders hunger for Gods word and they absorb their teachings like a sponge. There is such a need for discipleship and especially leadership training. You may have a call to a leadership position however without the proper tools in your tool belt you will not be able to perform the task God has given you. At the end of the seminar they were so excited that over 25 pastors wanted to join Victory Christian Fellowship which is the Apostolic oversight network arm of Victory Christian church.
We also had an opportunity to pray for the mayor of Free Town and a Colonel in the military who is in charge of all the Chaplin’s. When we laid hands on the Colonel the power of God hit him and he dropped to his face and wept. We now have an open invitation to minister and teach all Chaplin’s under his charge.
Also, the Lord has opened doors to meet and minister to the President and his staff so please pray that we speak nothing but the mind of Christ!
The evening crusades saw over 250 people give there lives to Christ! Many Muslims and even a Hindu man told us they sensed a “FIRE” burning in there hearts when the message was being preached. The last night of the crusade we saw Gods power touch many who were demon possessed and the Spirit of the Lord set them free! Praise be to God.
We will be returning this September to Free Town and we would covet your prayers as we continue what God has started.
Once again I want to personally thank all who have supported the ministry through your prayers and financial support. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul: Not that I desire a gift; but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. Philippians 4:17
May Gods blessings be continually upon you,
Rev. Anthony V. Fontana
