Latvia March 2008
Our trip to Latvia was a tremendous success. Pastor Peter and I met up with Colin Carson from England who was the coordinator of this leadership conference. The title of the conference was “Developing A Culture for Growth. All the messages that were ministered were powerful and had the same theme threaded through, how God develops a leader first before the church or culture can move forward into the purposes of God. God is more concerned with our character than our gifting! The conference was filled with not only pastors and leaders but young people from the bible college who were hungry for the word of the Lord. Our hosts were a beautiful couple from Argentina that God had directed to go and start a church and bible school in Latvia. Truly they are blessed for there obedience. The last Sunday of the conference we all went to different church’s to minister. I attended and old Latvian church in the city and the word of the Lord I ministered to them was out of Isaiah 43:18-20, Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
The Spirit of the Lord moved wonderfully just like a river and touched many people. They truly love the Lord and I know God will do great things for them in the future. I am looking forward in returning and to see there progress.
Once again to all my supporters I want to say thank you for your prayers and financial support to allow me to fulfill Gods will for my life. Remember the apostle Paul said; not that I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. Philippians 4:17
